Antibiotics for the Rare

Access to essential medicine can change everything for a child in need

Our partners at the Revived by Unity Foundation have generously provided 545 doses of antibiotics to our rare disease patients at two partner hospitals in Lviv, Ukraine totaling $10,900 in value.

For children living with rare genetic diseases, a routine infection can quickly trigger life-threatening complications. Having reliable access to targeted, high-quality antibiotics means doctors and families can act immediately—preventing severe setbacks, avoiding prolonged hospital stays, and protecting fragile immune systems when every hour counts.

Through the Birds for Sofia Medical Support Program, we continue to unite global partners to deliver vital medications, specialized equipment, and medical nutrition to the most vulnerable children with rare diseases across Ukraine.
