Ksieniia Karimova

We are thrilled to announce that Ksieniia Karimova’s 2024 fundraising goal has been achieved!

Thanks to your generosity, we’ve successfully transferred $28,526 to the Hadassah University Hospital in Tel Aviv to cover Ksieniia’s annual medical needs, including lab tests, X-rays, follow-up doctor appointments, and crucial medications to manage her hereditary condition – phosphate diabetes. 

During her visit, she was examined by renowned specialists, Professor of Endocrinology David Gilis, and leading nephrologist Ari Simhes, M.D., who noted positive progress in her treatment. Ksieniia’s medication doses have even been reduced, which is a huge step forward!

Her growth has been remarkable for her condition—she’s grown 3.5cm in just six months! While her kidneys remain stable, unfortunately, doctors are monitoring several more skeletal deformities, despite the fact Ksieniia continues to work hard in rehabilitation courses every two months. 

Now, the family is focused on purchasing rare medications, and we all believe that this new treatment plan will help Ksieniia reach even greater heights in her health and athletic career.
