Association Paris-Ukraine

Our partnering organization International Franco-Ukrainian Association Paris-Ukraine Ile de France and its President Solomiia Begun helped to raise funds for Sasha Samus, who is suffering from SMA, during the all-star Charity Gala Evening in Paris.

For several years now, Solomiia has been supporting Ukraine and is a cultural ambassador of Ukraine and France in the world. When she first saw one of Sasha’s videos on our platforms, she got inspired by his artworks and immediately decided to get involved. In this unique art collaboration, Sasha colored the design sketch of an Angel, and then talented jewelers of the Ukrainian Lobortas Classic Jewellery House recreated it as a gorgeous pendant.

The piece was purchased during the Charity Auction, where the star guests were offered the opportunity to purchase the unique pieces of sculpture, paintings, jewelry and wine by Ukrainian craftsmen. The guest who acquired the Pendant has symbolically become an Angel for Sasha: the funds raised from the purchase will help Sasha’s family cover the upcoming spine surgery, aimed at improving his mobility and quality of life.

We are incredibly proud of Sasha, his talent and strength are obvious, and they are to open up a whole new world for him. Our team is expressing endless gratitude to Solomiia, her kind heart and artistic intuition serve the great mission, and we are happy to be partnering in common cultural and social goals.
