Blankets for SMA kids
When children with spinal muscular atrophy are evacuated from Ukraine, they face a world of unknowns — new countries, new languages, and the immense challenges of living with a rare, life-threatening condition far from home.
Thanks to our USA Resettlement Program launched in 2022, 17 brave families received vital medical evaluations and support they couldn’t access in Ukraine. While the official adaptation period has ended, many still rely on ongoing help from our incredible community of supporters.
Recently, two of our little SMA warriors, Alina and Vlad, received beautiful, hand-crafted blankets donated by the kind-hearted Jennifer Long. A small gesture that brought big smiles and reminded these children they are not forgotten.
Become an angel for refugee kids with rare diseases. Your kindness can bring comfort, stability, and hope to those still finding their way.
Together, we can make sure their journey doesn’t end with evacuation — but continues with love and care.
Thank you
