Max Kyryk

This incredible moment has finally arrived!

Congratulations to our dear Max Kyryk! His Zolgensma collection is closed and the final report is out! We’ve been raising funds for Max’s treatment since July 2022, and we’ve got many amazing SMA stories that have changed this fundraiser forever.

Thus, for instance, a total of $479,092 were transferred to the MEDCARE clinic (UAE) official account by 2 of our USA Resettlement Program families after their kids received the life-saving injection as a part of the US humanitarian effort to help children from the war zone, which closed their $2M fundraisers. 

The Pukalo family with SMA type 2 twins generously donated $269,153. And the Kurchak family first transferred $209,939 to the clinic and then additionally helped the fundraiser via the Siedopomaga platform by donating $168,766. This was totally unprecedented!

Other two of our SMA patients Mia Nevidoma and Dima Hrom also couldn’t stay aside and donated $10,000 each.

It’s just amazing to witness such sincere support inside the Ukrainian SMA community, thank you our dear families for your kind hearts! 

We’d also like to express our enormous gratitude to all of you, our supporters, volunteers and friends. Your collective effort enables us to add up $22,130 to the MEDCARE account and thus one more significant milestone in providing life-changing treatment for children with SMA is achieved. 

We are wishing Max easy rehabilitation and  maximum effect from the gene therapy. We hope Zolgensma is going to work its best!
